Outreach
An important aspect of any group is its commitment to giving back to the community. The Biomedical Engineering Student Society at UTSA / UTHSCSA is committed to making service an important part its role. To accomplish the goal, we are developing several lectures for students in middle and high school. The society plans to visit underprivlidged students as well as gifted and talented programs several times each semester and help get students excited about a future in Biomedical Engineering.
If you are a teacher or administrator and are interested in scheduling a visit from the program, please contact the outreach chair. Students may also be able to participate in other outreach opportunities such as judging a science fair.
